Case synopsis:

Latwaan Griffiths, 18, died after collapsing with stab wounds in Camberwell on 25 July 2018.

He was left lying in Denmark Road by a moped driver at around 6.55pm.

Members of the public gave first aid before paramedics arrived to take him to hospital.

Mr Griffiths, from Southwark, was pronounced dead at 12.22am on 26 July 2018.

The Metropolitan Police launched a murder investigation and said they were trying to establish where he was attacked before being taken to Denmark Road on the back of the moped.

A 17 year-old man was arrested in Kent on suspicion of murder at 3.21pm on 26 July before being released under investigation.

Detectives are appealing for the rider of the moped to come forward.

DCI Simon Harding, said: “This is a tragic incident which has resulted in yet another young person being fatally stabbed in London.

"We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, we need to trace the moped and also the person who brought the victim to the scene, it’s important we establish where the victim initially received his injuries. Anyone who saw the moped make off from the scene we equally need to hear from them.”
