Case synopsis:

Elizabeth Figg, 21, was found dead on a towpath near Duke''s Meadows in Chiswick, west London, on 17 June 1959. She had been strangled.

It has been suggested that she was an early victim of the serial killer ''Jack the Stripper'', who is thought to have killed at least six women between 1964 and 1965.

Ms Figg''s body was found upstream of the Stripper victims Hannah Tailford and Irene Lockwood.
