Case synopsis:

Hashim Abdalla Ali, 22, was shot dead in a car in Hayes on 11 October 2018.

He was targeted while sitting in the passenger seat of a black Mercedes parked on Central Avenue close to the junction with Addison Way at around 2.37pm.

The driver of the car, a 27 year-old man, was driving the victim to hospital when it crashed into parked vehicles in Uxbridge Road at the junction with West Drayton Road.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 2.43pm but Mr Ahmed, from Hayes, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mercedes was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving before being released on bail for further investigation.

On 31 October 2018 Juskiran Sidhu, 27 (01.12.90), of Hayes, was charged with murder. Phillip Fashakin, 36 (30.07.82) of no fixed address, was charged with murder on 7 November.

They are due to stand trial at the Old Bailey on 8 April 2018.
