Case synopsis:

Leon Maxwell, 38, was shot dead outside Queensbury tube station on 1 May 2018.

Police were called to Cumberland Road at 9.02pm.

Mr Maxwell, from Watford, died at the scene at 9.58pm. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death was a gunshot wound.

Detectives are investigating any links between him and a 26 year-old man who is believed to have suffered a gunshot injury in Essoldo Way before attending hospital at 9.08pm.

The murder investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
