Murder in Kingston

A 28 year-old man has been stabbed to death in Kingston, south London.
The victim was found injured in Thursley House, Kingsnympton Park at around 6.20pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Statement from the Met Police:
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Kingston.
Police were called at around 18:20hrs on Monday, 10 June to reports of a man stabbed at an address in Thursley House, Kingsnympton Park, Kingston.
Officers, the ambulance service and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene but the man, aged 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed but formal identification awaits.
A post mortem examination is scheduled to take place at 1400hrs today (11 June) at Kingston Mortuary.
The Homicide and Serious Crime Command has been informed and are investigating.
A 44-year-old man was arrested this morning (11 June) in Portsmouth on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station.

UPDATE on 12 June: A man is charged with murder
Andrew Nichols, 44 yrs (05.12.68), of Fordham, Excelsior Close, Kingston, was today, 12 June, charged with murder following an incident in Kingston on 10 June.
He appeared in custody this morning at South-West Magistrates' Court and was remanded to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 14 June.
UPDATE on 13 June: The victim is formally identified.
The victim has been formally identified as Colin Bolton, 28 (08.02.85), of Downfield House, Sheephouse Way, New Malden.
