Disappointed with this article about Margaret White in 1888 (my great grandmother ) The actual Old Bailey record is far more in depth and even a cursory read of a recent book about “murders in the year of the ripper” provide a far more detailed account! What a shame!
Apologies for the disappointment – this was intended as a summary with some added context, given that the full record is available from the Old Bailey website. Have now added a link to the Old Bailey record for those wanting to read in more depth about the case. I hope you have found your great grandmother’s case interesting – there may well be more to discover in other records.
Brilliant! Thank you!
