I don’t believe the city the size of london only has 100 murders a year or 34 in the last 5 months I think its just a lie to keep tourism booming but yet they still think that we are stupid I think its a big farse I mean they was getting that in the mid 70s
I think the figures are correct. I’ve been following the numbers for about 15 years and there’s no reason not to believe they are true. One reason is that most murders in London are stabbings and medical experts have become much better at preventing people who’ve been stabbed from dying from their injuries in recent years.
No. You could say that about literally any city in that case.
Homicides are very well tracked here.
Some people believe that the earth is flat. Some people believe that our fate is determined by the stars. You have every right to express your belief but please do not expect that belief to be accepted unless you can provide hard evidence. If you really believe that London has more than 100 murders a year (that is an average of about 2 murders a week), then please provide the hard evidence(names, ages, locations, method, source of information, guarantee of authenticity of evidence for those extra tragedies). If it is ‘stupid’ to demand hard evidence – then, so be it.
You seem disappointed.
Your quite right of course you do need proof to say there’s more. See im joining in on a conversation I don’t have hard facts,I’m not official what I do have is simple maths and the majority of the time you will have 2 murders just at the weekend without the working week, you have also the missing who are never found you have peoples found suddenly dead found on a street to be told there are no suspicious circumstances you have other ones where they may say we’ve found 3 bodies in a dwelling but we are not looking for anyone else peoples suddenly mowed down by a hit and run, death by dangerous driving not murder 3or 4 years and they if there caught have served there time as for murders London was getting that number in the late sixties,I could go on and on but like I say that’s my maths , and I’m no mathematician, I believe in what I see is right hear what’s right and feel what’s right and I don’t feel they ve got it right that’s my opinion
At the end of the day when it comes to the reality of these statistics, it’s the facts that dictate them, not personal opinions.
Why such a large drop in homicides this year? And, have all the serial killers gone on strike?
Does feel quieter but at the moment it looks like the total for 2023 could be similar to 2022 (which was a significant decrease on previous years).
