The death of a Lithuanian man in Hounslow was initially treated as a suspected murder. More than a year later a coroner concluded the case was “alcohol-related”.
A mother-of-two reported her drug-addicted husband to police for assault and theft. He was given a police caution and she started divorce proceedings to start a new chapter of her life. Eleven months later he stabbed her to death and stole her jewellery.
The parents of an 18 year-old student was shot and stabbed to death near his home in east London are still waiting for justice two years later. Police told the inquest that they hope to charge up to 12 people in connection with the case ‘in the near future’.
